Virtual Administrative Assistant

We’re looking for a full-time contractor in a work from home setup to work as an Administrative Assistant for a physician’s office. You will provide day-to-day administrative office support such as scheduling and insurance verification. We’re looking for a college degreed person capable of learning on the job. This is an ideal setup for a person that prefers working in the home but they will need to be fully attentive for an 8 hour day. We will provide remote training and technical support so this person will need to be able to manage their network and computer equipment allowing phone calls and access to cloud systems.
  • Reception
  • EMR Management
  • Refills Processing
  • Patient scheduling
  • Insurance verification
  • Insurance Prior authorization
  • Able to work independently from home
  • Work a full time shift
  • Can learn online and master basic networking and cloud system tools
  • Excellent online research abilities
  • Able to learn good security protocols
  • Good at adapting multiple technologies for communication usage
  • Able to maintain and manage computer system at home with remote support
  • Can absorb medical terminology and process training
  • Possess good remote communication skills using chat, email, text, video calling and phone
  • Must be a college graduate – completed a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Good broadband level internet required
  • Able to handle basic technical tasks
