Phones are the gateway to both RPM and remote wellness. Over ten years ago I was the person responsible for my parents' tech and buying and configuring a phone was as challenging as any work project requiring a deep analysis on tech, usability, costs, and future proofing.

I'll say that this particular Amazon product is a privacy nightmare. But what I'm interested in is the tech it shows us that will be available in service to seniors and the family that cares about them. America had a lonely senior population problem. Not all but a significant number. This leads to depression and isolation.

Getting the job done is always the priority. How do you set up people working from home without them ditching the main structure you rely on for security. Many places I worked had a silo for security with no mind to productivity. I am guilty of past transgressions in the name of delivery.

We are social creatures. We depend on each other in physical and emotional ways. Technology is a challenge to that and there’s a big divide based on these technology differences. One of the things that we are doing in our work is finding new ways to incorporate and integrate wellness into what we do every day.
